The Festival
These 42 texts are a declaration of love to the Indian subcontinent. Georg Felsberg spent many months travelling with his blue rucksack, by bus and train - but often on foot through the sparsely populated landscapes of the Thar Desert, in the mountains of Sikkim or along the great Brahmaputra River. It is his pleasure, as an urban wanderer, to roam through major metropolises - Mumbai, Kolkata, Colombo or Dhaka. Following his nose. "On my first journey I believed I understood the people I met just a little better. Only now do I know: They always ask me new questions. So far I can answer only a few of them. What an adventure." The book was published in its third edition in January 2014 by Die Qualitaner Verlag, Düsseldorf.
